Apartment turns into grave in paranoid horror film “Alone With You” in February [Trailer]

At the end of last year, Netflix made the surprise announcement that the Fede alvarez-product Chainsaw Massacre, a sequel to the original Tobe Hooper classic, will make its way onto the streaming service at February 18, 2022, and we’ve since received a trailer and some footage. Today brings a new image, and it’s especially exciting.

New movie is a sequel decades later only to Tobe Hooper’s original Chainsaw Massacre, with the actress Olwen Fouere (Mandy) reprising the emblematic role of Sally Hardesty from the late Marilyn Burns. Courtesy of USA Today, a preview of Sally’s comeback below!

Here’s the full official synopsis for the new movie …

“After nearly 50 years of hiding, Leatherface returns to terrorize a group of idealistic young friends who accidentally disrupt his carefully protected world in a remote Texas town.”

“Melody (Sarah Yarkin), his teenage sister Lila (Elsie Fisher), and their friends Dante (Jacob Latimore) and Ruth (Nell hudson), head to the remote town of Harlow, Texas to start an idealistic new business. But their dream quickly turns into a waking nightmare when they accidentally disrupt the home of Leatherface, the deranged serial killer whose bloody legacy continues to haunt locals, including Sally Hardesty (Olwen Fouere), the sole survivor of his infamous 1973 massacre who is determined to seek revenge.

Mark Burnham (Lowlife) is Leatherface.

David Blue Garcia (Tejano) directed the film for Legendary, which was written by Chris Thomas Devlin and shot last year. The film is a sequel to Tobe Hooper’s original classic.

Alvarez is producing with Bad Hombre’s Rodolfo Sayagues, alongside Kim Henkel (1974 film’s co-writer), Ian Henkel and Pat Cassidy, who are producing through their Exurbia Films.
