“Those looking for a gooey monster movie without too much hassle will love ‘Kids vs. Aliens”. -Slashfilm Fantasy Festival exam.

The horror/sci-fi film had its world premiere at Fantastic Fest and RLJE Films will release the film theatrically, on demand and digitally in early 2023 with a Shudder release to follow later in the year.

In CHILDREN VS. ALIENS, all Gary wants is to make awesome home movies with his best friends. All her older sister Samantha wants is to hang out with the cool kids. When their parents leave town on a Halloween weekend, an all-time hater of a teenage party turns to terror when aliens attack, forcing the siblings to band together to survive the night.

Directed by Jason Eisener (Hobo with a Shotgun, V/H/S/2, and Vice TV’s hit Dark Side of the Ring franchise), who co-wrote the film with John Davies (Hobo with a Shotgun), KIDS VS. ALIENS stars Dominic Mariche (“Are You Afraid of the Dark?”, “Team Zenko Go”), Phoebe Rex (“The Last Divide”), Calem MacDonald (“The Umbrella Academy”), Asher Grayson Percival (“Scaredy Cats”), and Ben Tector.

Director says of his film, “Kids vs. Aliens” was inspired by wild childhood antics with my sister and brother, making backyard movies with my friends and being swept away in folklore local, like the legend of Shag Harbour, where a UFO allegedly crashed in the waters off the coast of Nova Scotia. As a child this crept into my nightmares and I imagined it happening in my own backyard, family and friends fleeing for our lives from aliens crawling from the depths.

CHILDREN AGAINST. ALIENS was produced by Brad Miska (V/H/S), Josh Goldbloom (V/H/S/99), Jason Levangie (Night Blooms), Marc Tetreault (Moonshine) and Rob Cotterill (Possessor).
