The subject of time travel is not new, but the Needle in a parking meter trailer takes a romantic side approach. Leslie Odom Jr.’s Nick and Cynthia Erivo’s Janine are in love and married, but this is torn apart by Janine’s ex-husband, played by Orlando Bloom. The trailer opens as Nick decides to descend into the rabbit hole and travel back in time. While it’s not inherently clear why Nick decides to do it first, what becomes clear are the nefarious intentions of Orlando Bloom’s character.
