National Society of Film Critics 2022 Winners List – The Hollywood Reporter

The 56th National Society of Film Critics voting meeting to select their picks for the best films of 2021 takes place practically on Saturday.

Critic Justin Chang, who is the group’s chairman, tweets the winners live via the @NatSocFilmCrix Twitter account.

Typically, voting meetings are held at the Film Society of Lincoln Center in New York City, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the event has taken place virtually for the second year in a row and will not have no prize-giving evening.

Previous year’s winners include Chloe Zhao drama Nomadic country and Bong Joon Ho’s black comedy thriller Parasite were among the recent NSFC Best Picture winners.

Founded in 1966, the NSFC has 59 elected and eligible members from major newspapers and media across the country, including The Wall Street Journal, The LA Times, the New Yorker, The Christian Science Monitor and NPR. The company annually honors the best acting, directing, writing, cinematography and more on screen and streaming in the United States

The NSFC provides the official critical delegate to the National Film Registration Board of the Library of Congress. Abroad, he is the official American representative to FIPRESCI, the international federation of members of the cinematographic press.
