The Quintessential Quintuplets shares new movie trailer
The Quintessential Quintuplets will soon return for a feature-length anime ending, and has given fans a new look with its latest trailer! Negi Haruba’s original manga runs for The Quintessential Quintuplets had ended a while ago, and after the end of the anime adaptation’s second season, fans were wondering how the anime would handle the series ending as a result. The second season dropped some major hints about what might happen in the future, but it wasn’t until last spring that it was announced that the anime would be continuing with a new movie.
Rather than returning for a third season as many fans anticipated, The Quintessential Quintuplets will end the anime with a new feature. Slated to be 130 minutes long, there’s still a lot to reveal about the story film itself outside of it serving as the finale to the franchise as a whole. With the new film hitting theaters on May 20th (with no known international release plans yet for the film), The Quintessential Quintuplets has released a new trailer! Check it out below:
The staff and cast are returning from the second season for the new movie, so if you wanted to check out the first two seasons of the show to catch up before the movie comes out, you can now find The Quintessential Quintuplets streaming with Crunchyroll and Funimation. They describe the series as such, “Uesugi Fuutarou, a second-year high school student from a poor family, receives a very tempting offer to work part-time as a tutor…but his students turn out to be girls from his own class. Besides, they’re quintuplets… and all five are beautiful, but they just happen to be problem students who have borderline grades and hate studying! All the sisters?! Every day is a crazy party in this romantic comedy centered on the quintuplet sisters of House Nakano!”
