To All the Boys star Jordan Fisher in Netflix rom-com trailer

To all the boys I’ve loved before Actor Jordan Fisher is heartbroken in Netflix’s first trailer for Hello, goodbye and everything else.

It is an adaptation of the novel by Jennifer E Smith, focusing on high school students Aidan and Clare (played by Talia Ryder, from Never Rarely Sometimes Always fame), who make a pact to end their relationship before heading off to college.

On a final date, the pair find themselves reflecting on their romance and retracing the exact steps that started it all – challenging the cliché that high school sweethearts aren’t meant to stay together.

As we can see in the trailer (visible at the top of this article), Aidan and Clare’s emotional journey perfectly captures that sense of teenage yearning and frustration.

“You both made the rules in the beginning, you can’t be upset if she doesn’t want to break them!” a friend urges Aidan, while Clare asks on the phone, “What if I throw away, like, the best thing that ever happened to me?”

With Aidan clearly not keen on keeping this “agreement”, will his girlfriend see the meaning?
